Piano Lesson Software Review
Learn How to Play Piano with Software
Piano Learning Software creates a solution to learn the piano at your own schedule.
Today we're going to lean how to play piano using software. The items you will need are a piano or a keyboard, your choice of piano learning software, and a computer with speakers. For today's demonstration we're going to use eMedia's Piano and Keyboard Method. First thing that we come to is an overview showing the contents of the program. Each category is broken down into small, easy to understand lessons. These short lessons are great since they allow you to learn at your own pace without becoming overwhelmed. As you go though the lessons you will find that each has at least 1 of 4 components. Text, audio, video, or illustration. Having these many options is great for gaining a clear understanding of each lesson. Most piano learning software will come with some extra elements such as metronome to help you keep a specific beat, or a recorder so you can playback your progress. From this point you will simply follow each lesson through from beginning to end, or until you feel comfortable moving on to the next lesson. Remember that most learning software is designed to increase in difficulty as it moves on so jumping ahead in the contents may actually slow your learning process.
